Don’t be surprised to see a traffic signal parked outside Jamie Narwold’s cubicle. As Agency Traffic Specialist, her job is to keep jobs moving efficiently without provoking road rage or collisions.
Jamie has worked for Compassion for a total of 6 years, serving in a variety of different roles and responsibilities during that time. In 2004, during a break from her employment with Compassion, she and her husband completed a Discipleship Training School through Youth With a Mission (YWAM), leading the couple to travel and minister throughout Germany, Russia and Mongolia.

Jamie recently returned to Compassion to provide administrative and technical support to the CB team after spending a year and a half as a stay-at-home mom. She says, “I love working with the group to find win-win solutions that work for everyone. I’m also a bit of a data-head and truly enjoy building reports and pulling together useful information.”

While a stint on American Idol appears unlikely, little Jamie wanted to be a professional singer, and she once sang on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Now she indulges in singing, biking, hiking, studying nutrition and healthy living. She is married to Philip and they have a lively little girl named Josephine.
