Senior Client Service Specialist Melissa Lemke is a new Compassion employee, but she isn’t new to Compassion, having traveled to Kenya four times to visit her sponsored child, Amelia. In other words, by taking bazillions of pictures and sharing them with the rest of us.

Before joining the Creative Blue team, she worked in nonprofit ministry for 10 years, primarily in the field of donor development, specializing in foundations and grants. She also is an accomplished mission trip photojournalist who especially enjoys visual storytelling by “capturing moments others might see and enter into.”

Melissa’s professional role includes developing relationships with internal ministry clients in order to serve their needs through creative strategy development/ implementation. In her personal time, she enjoys photography, travel, mission trips, leading worship, being outdoors and enjoying the mountains, and spending time with people.
