Print Production Specialist Tom Herndon joined Creative Blue in November 2008. Tom works with digital print jobs, displays, unique promotional items and inventory reprints. His favorite part of the job is joining in the creative process for marketing pieces. “I enjoy being part of the conversation when it comes to sharing Compassion’s message,” he says.
Tom comes to Creative Blue from the Christian Booksellers Association (CBA), where he was employed for eight years. Before working for CBA, Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in religion.
In his free time, Tom enjoys beautiful Colorado. “I love to go mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and four-wheeling in my truck.”
When Tom was a child, he dreamed of being an astronaut. “Actually, I still want to be an astronaut, but I’m not sure how that’s going to work out … ”
Tom lives in Briargate with his wife, Danae, who some might remember from her days in Compassion’s Income Processing Department. They have three adorable children. Tom’s life passion is being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ to the world. “I’ve always admired the phrase by St. Francis of Assissi: ‘Preach the gospel at all times — if necessary, use words.’”
